Why does the poodle wobble?
Wobbly figures work with a little trick. If you press your thumb on the small wooden disk in the pedestal, which covers a spring, the strings that hold the wobble figure upright slacken. The figure buckles, lies down or falls over. When you let go again, the strings are taut again and the wobble figure straightens up again.
